This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Please do something, I'm fed up with being a victim of the agorhythm and seeing things I don't want to see on my home page. I'd like to be able to personalize this part and in particular to be able to hide 1 playlist that I've only listened to once and that doesn't interest me! Paid subscription should be able to allow this customization, I really don't understand.

Gosh. When will they finally stop being such profit-driven capitalist? Didn't the company have more growth, when people felt like there were really tailored recommendations, whereas now it's just "popular this" and "popular that". If I want that, I can listen to any old radio station.

Whenever I sign on my Mac Desktop app -- all I see are podcasts -- I am not interested at all in podcasts - I want to see music options -- same thing on my Tesla screen -- Stop pushing podcasts

5 years later this fkn thing is still not fixed. 0 customizability on the home feed. I hate the spotify app so much, each year the app got worse. home feed is full of stuff i have ZERO interest in listening to and never will. fk spotify

What does it take to convince you that we want a customizable home screen? When a person is paying for a subscription to a service, they shouldn't have to put up with click-bait and things they didn't sign up for, such as podcasts and audiobooks, in my case. I would be more than happy to simply get rid of that middle "home" page anyway. Add the ability to turn that window on or off and have a start-up default for the on/off state. Having just "Your Library" and the "Queue/Recently played" windows would be my preference. I realize that you want to promote certain artists and such, but I already pay a subscription to NOT have advertising in ANY form.

This issue has been commented on for seven years. Clearly spotify has no intention of changing this, but I still feel compelled to comment on it. It annoys be greatly to see "ads" for some pop music rapper or popular diva that I have absolutely no interest in. I don't care who the heck Joe Rogain is and would prefer not to see his ugly mug every time you feel the need to try to recoup your bad investment in him.  Give your paid subscribers the freedom to not only listen to what they want, but to also see what they want, interruption free.

As a programmer, I know this isn't a big task. There is no reasonable explanation for not making this a priority.

The way it looks to me is, the only way Spotify will start listening to their customers, is if everyone cancels and deletes their account and goes elsewhere. Unfortunately, with shows like "The Today Show" advertising it, they might not even care if everyone does.

I cancelled mine a couple years ago, but haven't used it or deleted it just so I can keep getting notifications when people post here, in hopes they'll see the light and actually fix it.

I just tried the Not Interested button in the Podcast tab. Marked all podcasts as 'not interested' but they're still appearing on my home screen?

Can I give spotify feedback on the suggestions on my homepage or discovery picks? Alot of stuff is recommended but not relevant or repetitive
