This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

This has been an issue for YEARS and I see zero improvement. There you lost another customer, seeya never.

The UI is awful and needs changing. When I open my library I want to be able to look at MY library in different sections. By default everything is grouped together and looks ugly. So you I to click on different sections to eliminate the ones I don't want. (For example click on podcasts, to hide the music).

Sometimes I want to scroll my artists to see who I'm in the mood to listen to. But not all the artists are there even if I've downloaded their albums because I've not "followed" them. This is supposed to be my music library. Not social media.

Then when I click on the artist I want to listen to through 'Artist', it takes me to their cluttered page which looks even more like social media, rather than their albums that I have specifically downloaded from them. This is not my "library" then is it?

While Spotify has fantastic features such as DJ mix, Wrapped, and better tools for finding new music, looking at your own personal library is **bleep** on earth and a visual mess. This is how I would use Spotify 80% of the time and Apple Music is 10x better than you at it. Refine your library page and I might actually want to rejoin. But as of now, no way I'm rejoining even for free.

I for one would appreciate the ability to customize my spotify experience more. Lately I have been having an issue seeing triggering explicit content under the "discover something new" when I try to make a search on my phone. When this happens it ruins my day and makes me question if I should still be using Spotify.

Playlists can appear on the Home page after I’ve listened to them at some point, whether through Jam, shared links, or other listening activities. Even when I no longer play or follow these playlists, they can remain on Home for a long time.

Currently, there’s no option to hide or remove specific playlists that show up due to past listening or interactions. I’d really appreciate a simple action like “Hide” or “Remove from Home” so users can control what appears on their Home page and keep it aligned with their current preferences.

This would help make the Home page feel more personal and relevant over time.

yeah, this is true, sometimes i jam with friends in game and their playlists end up showing on my Home page. I really don’t want to see them there because they’re not my music taste at all. A hide or remove option would be really helpful

Dude I just want to remove weird “Video Episodes for you” from my home page on my phone. I legit open my phone to see LITERALLY “Southern Dommy Mommy Yandere bounty hunter claims her bounty”… LIKE BRO. I am embarrassed to even open Spotify in public with a random ahh anime girl dommy mommy bs on my page. PLEASE help or I’m legit leaving this service it is so lame.

Yooo spotify people your "Not interested" button does absolutely nothing, it does not remove the suggestion from the screen, it does not make the section go away, it does not change my Home screen in any way, it has been EIGHT YEARS and this has gotten FIFTEEN THOUSAND UPVOTES. And your so-called solution is to add a "not interested" menu item buried three button taps beneath some sub-menu item that doesn't even appear consistently on all items? And that doesn't even actually do anything, or remove anything, or change the layout of the Home screen? Meanwhile, in the eight years since this person complained about the cluttered Home screen, your company has added layer upon layer of s**t that nobody wants and nobody asked for and that has nothing to do with listening to music. At this rate, I fully expect Spotify to shove some idiotic time-wasting games, sports b*tting, and/or AI-generated thirst traps on my home page in the next year or two.

This app, and this whole rotten company, needs to push a big f***king reset button and get back to focusing on music - you know, the thing that everyone expects when they pay for a spotify subscription - not on being an "everything app for high-engagement brain garbage"

Please let me customize the homescreen, specifically remove tiles I don't want to see.

I can do it on YouTube, why not here? You're copying all stupid features from YT but ignore the one that makes it work.

Users need to be able to hide tiles, they aren't interested in.
