Downtime July 22nd, 2025: Can't login to Spotify Kids

We're receiving reports mentioning that Spotify Kids is having some issues to let the users log in. This is already being investigated internally by the relevant teams. Thanks for your reports.

Same problem in Germany with my son !

He could use the app without any problem until yesterday...

Hope it will be fixed soon before the holiday...

Same problem in France. When I try to log in, I get the message: ‘Spotify Kids is not available in the country or region associated with your account.’

Finally back up and running…for now. Spotify need to look at this app and make it more reliable.

Spotify is currently aware of an Ongoing Issue causing some users to be unable to log in to Spotify Kids. The relevant team is currently looking into the issue.

I recommend adding your +VOTE to the Ongoing Issue, as well as Subscribing to it by clicking the three dots next to its title; that way, you can be sure to be informed of any relevant updates.

This is really pathetic. Over 10 hours and still no resolution, and no actual communication from Spotify to premium members about the issue, or that it exists at all. 
Spotify should refund prorate based on the length of time their service does not work as advertised.

Same here. Bedtime yesterday got off to a bad start when there was no way of listening to the bedtime story. Started working today again but now it gets stuck on the "who's listening" screen (so logged in and I can go to the adult menu but the kid can't listen)

I apparently can't figure out how to post a new topic, so replying to this one. This issue is still affecting my kid's ability to log into his Spotify Kids and listen to his music. The app is on an older iPhone and the phone itself has been restarted multiple times in an attempt to get it to work. We keep getting the same error message about the app not being available in the country we are in. And we're in the United States. This issue has been going on for 2 days now.
