Incorrect number of Liked Songs

We've been getting reports that some users are not seeing the correct number of Liked Songs in their Library. This is happening across multiple platforms: Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

We are now investigating this.

Hey folks!

This should now be fixed 🙂
If the issue still persists for you, do a clean reinstall the app as described here.
Cheers!

Hi Vasil

Thanks for the update but on my side it has not been fixed 😞 I still have 8 months of liked songs missing.
Even after a clean reinstall (both on my MAC app and Android phone)

Let me know if you can help

My Question or Issue

I recently purchased an iPhone 15 and downloaded Spotify again. My account seemed absolutely fine - all playlists etc synced as normal. However, my liked songs didn't seem to carry over. The playlist was available but the number of liked songs totally changed.

My liked songs appear on both my desktop devices as normal, and on my old phone (approx 3000 saved songs). But on mobile I have 25 Liked songs...

Is there a way to sync them again?

MihailY

Hey @Winsprins and @danielstockdale,

Apologies for the late reply.

Can you please send us some screenshots of the differences in the two playlists and confirm you've logged in the correct account on both devices? Also, please provide their models, OS versions and Spotify versions.

We'll be on the lookout for your responses.

Hey @MihailY

No problem. Thanks for getting back to me.

I've attached two photos, as you can see they both are the same playlist, with some of the more recent saved songs being the same. However, the mobile one has 27 songs and desktop has the complete set.

I can confirm they're the same account also.

Mobile: iOS 17.6.1 (up to date), Spotify Version 8.9.70.592

Desktop: Microsoft Windows 10 pro, Spotify for Windows (64bit) 1.2.45.454.gc16ec9f6

Both appear to be up to date.

Let me know if you need more info!

Has there been any update? @MihailY

Still having this problem with mine. I did deep clean and quick install. Seems like the more the family premium price goes up, the more issues I have.

Also songs randomly get unliked and artists randomly get unfollowed. Really annoying.

I'm about to stop paying for premium and stop using Spotify altogether. 😔

Hello community. I am having the same problem as all other users on this forum. How do I make the number of likes match?

I have tried clean reinstalls several times. It didn't change anything. (and I have to tell that my daughter has no problems with her list)
