spotify wrapped not showing

I have already updated the app to the newest version and also tried it on several devices, I never get the notification. There is just a circular arrow that loads for a second and then resets and nothing happens.

Superuser Contribution Spotify doesn't play sound on MiBox (Streamer). What should I do?

The app works properly, and it seems as if it's playing songs but no sound comes out. The TV is on the highest volume level and the sound works perfectly well on other apps.
