My Question or Issue

Hi,
I am in the Philipines and trying to purchase the yearly Premium with mobile. When ever I select yearly in any of the payment options it switches to credit card. How do I pay by mobile.

I have tried to:
- Buy in incognito.

- Use a ***spotify**yearly URL in some other posts.

- Use the mobile app.

- use chrome browser.

I am sitting with all the money on my mobile and dont want to loose it. Please help.

In the help function Spotify only excludes student and family plans from paying with mobile.

Thanks for reaching out here and welcome to the Community! We're happy to shed some light on the situation.

 

It's currently not possible to by mobile for this plan. In the Philippines you have the following options to pay for Spotify Premium Yearly:

  • Pay by credit or debit card
  • Pay by online banking
  • Pay by cash

Why not, you can pay other time frames but not this. And why do they not make it clear. In the help section they say only family and student plans can not be payed by mobile?

Sorry for the confusion! Available payment methods for different type of subscriptions may change over time. The best way of checking which payment methods are acceptable is following the steps here and choosing your desired plan.
