This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

• I'm a premium subscriber and have been for years. I've tried everything to turn off suggestions, new artists picks, picked for you, podcasts and in fact everything Spotify is forcing in front of me without any option to disable or turn off.

  I know I'm not the only one of Spotify's paid subscribers that have ZERO interest in anything Spotify's algorithms or marketing campaigns are attempting to force upon their members. I've found work around on my PC thanks to Spicetify. However, I do the majority of my listening/streaming through the Android app.

  Unless either a Spotify representative or some helpful member can tell me how to PERMANENTLY disable all of this unwanted soliciting, I will be cancelling my subscription and moving on. I do realize that by Spotify using these algorithms and features in their program/app highly increases their profit. I'm sure all of that profit significantly outweighs the loss of the tiny amount of revenue that will occur to Spotify if/when I or few others do cancel their paid subscriptions. I'm extremely frustrated and I'm either in need direction in how to disable and STOP ALL UNWANTED SUGGESTIONS, PICKS, ETC. or I'm cancelling. Thank you in advance.

The new feature does not go far enough, for example, I listen to rock and metal, why on earth would Spotify recommend rap and R&B, I am not interested in music genres that I don't listen to.

HI was going to vote but I couldn't because it said not right now. This problem needs to be solved urgently. The ones we have never listened to and the ones we do listen to are not similar to these, even though they are not similar, they appear on the main screen.

Ability to remove unwanted songs or artists from Spotify homepage

Description (Açıklama):

I would like to have the option to remove songs, artists, or playlists from my Spotify homepage that I’m not interested in. Currently, the homepage is filled with recommendations that don’t match my music taste, and I can’t manually remove or hide them.

This feature would help personalize the Spotify experience and give users more control over what they see. Even a simple “Don’t show this again” or “Not interested” button would make a big difference.

Please consider adding this! I believe many users would appreciate more control over their homepage content.

There is so much explicit content that Spotify takes too long to respond to, and if you try to report it and help Spotify in their filtering of such content, THEY RECOMMEND IT TO YOU. This, to me, has been very troublesome because now there is just straight **bleep** in a massive bar on my homepage, and I, as a paying user of Spotify Premium, do not have the option to remove such content.
