can't register duo address

When I go to the register duo screen and type in any part of my address (postal code, first line, town, name county, whatever) NOTHING is recognised so it's impossible to set duo up.

my husband cannot accept the duo invite

I changed my account to be Italy and the address matches my husbands on his own free spotify account. He cannot accept it with the link and continuously gets and error that our addresses don't match. My address on file is the same as his.
