My Question or Issue

Like many other users, I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and the app freezes when touching any of the 3 buttons menu on the app.

TBH This is really annoying, specially since I pay premium. 

Today I downloaded a new version of the app and the issue is still present.

Can you please fix ASAP?

Had the same issue and today got the MIUI update to 11 and the problem is gone. It works perfectly now.

Xiaomi just released MIUI 11, this fixes the problem.

I'm glad to to hear this, but I'm still angry with Spotify.

They offer a premium service and are not even able to give a reasonable explanation to their users.

Totally agree with you @Pamplina. Not a reason nor a simple message "we are investigating" or "working to fix it".

My Redmi 6 received today the MIUI 11 update and the Spotify problem PERSISTS!!!

I'm going desperate with this.

Katerina, it's imperative to Spotify to offer an alternative for the app, either allowing the download of Spotify Lite or an earlier version from a reliable source.
You cannot ignore the problems of premium users who are paying for a service. It is UNNACEPTABLE.

The issue stands "under investigation" since August!!

I have finally given up and installed version 6.3.0 from an unofficial source. I'm really angry with all this stuff.
I think about finishing my subscription and moving on to Tidal.
