Saving Spotify files to SD card on Fiio M9

I have a Fiio M9 and have a Sandisk 256GB SD card inserted. I can see this drive in the file management app on the Fiio, everytime I go into Settings on Spotify and choose this drive, it starts but then fails. Any suggestions to fix this?Plan Premium
