just updated desktop app, but now my History is weeks old!

Superuser Contribution When I open up spotify on my mac it shows up on my bar then disappears

Everytime I open up spotify on my mac, the spotify icon shows up on my bar then disappears. I've deleted and redownloaded spotify couple times and nothing seems to work. plz help
