Incorrect number of Liked Songs

We've been getting reports that some users are not seeing the correct number of Liked Songs in their Library. This is happening across multiple platforms: Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

 

We are now investigating this.

If the issue still persists for you, do a clean reinstall the app as described here.

My Question or Issue

I had 1700 liked songs on my Spotify and they are visible on my laptop however on my phone only 150 are in the liked songs playlist, this is really annoying as I regularly listen to my liked songs and having those songs there is valuable to be. 

I have already logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried a clean reinstall and nothing has helped.

uhh i just opened spotify like 5 mins ago and the entirety of my liked songs just disappeared outta nowhere can u help like i had my account for 3 years and i had alot of time put into getting all the 1.5k songs i had now i just have 166 left 😭😭 helppp

Its been bugging me recently that my liked songs and my playlist wont sync with my laptop, no matter how hard i try (like Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing cache, clearing user data, downloading and redownloading playlist, checking for updates and others) but they seem to not work, its my first time withnessing this and i cant find any fixes to it, its been weeks since this occured and im still trying to find a fix for it. Any help or fixes?


(The one without 'lucky girl syndrome' is desktop app)

Hey folks,

 

If the issue still persists for you, try clean reinstalling the app as described here (even if you've tried this previously) and let us know what happens.

 

If you haven't shared the details requested in the Status Update post yet, please include them in your reply as this will help the team narrow down the possible cause.

Tried a clean reinstall again after 5 days and 5 clean reinstall attempts and mine seems to be back to normal now

All my liked songs since 14th september 2023 just disappeard 😞 both on my Macbook Pro app and my Android App. 
Tried to uninstall completely and reinstall but nothing changed. 

Same on the web player. It is really a shame and I hope it will come back !

I use Spotify on my Android smartphone, Android TV, Android Automotive, iPad, Apple TV, multiple Windows PCs, Tizen Smart Monitor, all of the above devices works relatively fine, only with difference of two.

 

The only devices I have major issue with is an iPhone SE 2, running iOS 17.2.1 and Spotify 8.9.38.455. Only Linked Songs is affected, other playlist works fine. I currently have 1793 liked songs, and only 273 of them are showing on the iPhone.

 

It starts being able to show newly liked songs on other devices and able to send out liked songs to other devices this week, before they will just be lost after reinstalling or log out from the app.

 

Can confirm the fix works.

I have the same issue, my phone shows the correct 900+ liked songs but my PC is showing 293, have tried to clear cache/reinstall to no avail

Number of tracking seeing: 298 (while the number should be 765)



I have tried everything, reinstalling, clearing caches, installing from Microsoft store and the official website. Nothing seems to be working



After a clean install now, all my songs have returned.
