Playback stops after playing few songs on Echo devices

We've received multiple reports where repeat stops working & playback pauses after a few songs on Amazon Echo devices.

Hey there folks,

We've checked with our teams and this should now be fixed for everyone 🙂

Make sure that your Echo device is up-to-update, should you still experience issues. You can do this by asking Alexa for an update with the voice command - "Alexa, check for updates".

If the above doesn't do the trick, and the issue persists, we recommend that you create a new thread on our Help Board, so we can look into it further.

Cheers!

It's been a few days since my Echo continued playing non-stop with Spotify. I haven't had any issue (nor did I performed any software update).  The issue could've been fixed but the worldwide roll-out for it takes time (days, even weeks) for the proper regional centers to apply them.

Having the same issue still and now it’s started on my ps5 too. Tried the usual troubleshooting techniques but it’ll still stop streaming after only a song or maybe two.

I think they've fixed it now. After updating my Spotify app and the amazon Alexa App before one day, everything is now working again. Spotify is playing song after song via Alexa without stopping. Think this problem is solved. Thank you Spotify for this fast solution.

LOL, I didn't update anything and it's fixed on my Echo Dot too.... I guess it had to do with streaming and cache issues, to stream directly, vs streaming on PC or cell phone.

It happened again for the past 2 days is it broke again?

Normality has resumed but no sign of a sweetener after the weeks of frustration and paying for a premium service. 🤔

I have this same issue when playing grouped echo devices and while playing a single echo device. I can use a different wireless speaker with not a single issue.

Hello, I've been having this problem too and for months, It happens on my android phone.

Tried  restarting it everytime it stops the playlists and nothing, then uninstall and reinstall the app and same result.

I feel I'm paying for a service that doesn't work as promised except in my computer.

Can someone please give me a solution that is not "get the updates"? because that was the first place to look and didn't work.

Thanks in advance.
