Carplay iOS - forwards two seconds on app switch

When I switch to another app, dag Google Maps, and then back to Spotify in Apple Carplay it forwards the track 2 seconds every time. It just recently started to do this and it's not a behavior I have seen before. On latest version of Spotify on iOS.
