Solved!! Spotify not loading with latest iOS beta 11.4

I’m running Spotify 8.4.49 on a iOS build 11.4 (beta) which O think is build 15F5049C.When opened the spotify logo appears briefly before crashing out back to the iOS home screen.any advice, help or updates appreciated.

I signed up for the student discount, it charged my account and I got the verification email. But I go and log into my Spotify and check my account status and it says ‘FREE’. Anyone have any idea why?
