Cannot get local files to download onto iPhone

Hi,I'm having trouble syncing the local files on my mac onto my iPhone. I have downloaded the playlists both onto my mac and my iPhone, but the songs are just not showing up on my phone.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!Jaime
