Spotify pauses via USB with Ford Sync v.1

I have a 2010 F150 and use Spotify via USB from my iPhone. Pauses when I skip songs, or when changes songs. Works flawlessly via Bluetooth or on other cars. Recently occurred over last 3 weeks. Might be issue with Sync?
