Shuffle play on ipad

I have a free version. In publicity, Spotify says that if you don't pay, you'll have shuffle play mode on your phone, but not in your Pc or your tablet. But in my iPad,I only have shuffle play mode... Why??

How to sync IOS with iPad

I see Sync articles on how to sync the IOS app to the iphone/ipad. What about the other way around, can I make changes to spotify playlists on the iPad and they carry through and sync with the IOS? thanks James
